When we’re out and about on Camp Bowie, it’s hard to pass up a visit to Tokyo Cafe. This longtime west side establishment is popular with carnivores, but it’s also got a nice selection of veg-friendly fare.

Some of our favs are the veggie sushi rolls – pictured above is the simple, but flavorful, avocado roll. There’s also a veggie bowl with sauteed napa, broccoli, carrots, and tofu served over a bed of their delicious rice, but they’ll steam it instead if you ask. It’s even better steamed, in our humble opinion.

And, of course, there’s a nice, simple seaweed salad as well:

It’s not the widest-ranging vegan-friendly menu in town, but it’s very tasty.
