Fort Worth is getting a little chillier this weekend, but fortunately there’s a new vegan meal to combat it. Spiral Diner‘s now got this Butternut Squash & Fennel soup, available in the cup or bowl. It’s very flavorful – and don’t we all love butternut squash? I know I do. A nice hot bowl of soup for a chilly day sounds just about perfect right now.

They don’t usually post a timetable for the specials, but I figure the new soup will be around for a little while through the Thanksgiving holiday. We also have word that the legendary Festivus Sandwich will be back at Spiral in time for Thanksgiving – figure on about the 23rd for that Thanksgiving-meal-on-a-sandwich to make its annual appearance.
